Nurtured Pregnancy Yoga Classes

This weekly antenatal class and pregnancy yoga class provides a safe space for you to enjoy your pregnancy and prepare your body and mind for birth.

Classes support your physical and emotional well-being, ease any pregnancy symptoms, help you bond with your baby and feel more comfortable in your changing body.

You will learn about how your body works in birth, practice breathing, gentle movement, relaxation and hypnobirthing techniques to tap into your body’s innate ability to birth, all of which enable you to build a positive mind set and alleviate any anxieties you may feel.

While these classes are for those who are pregnant, partners are encouraged to attend the Birth Journey Masterclass, so you both understand how to work as a team during your birth and how they can provide emotional and practical support during your birth.

Classes include:

  • Gentle pregnancy yoga
  • Breathing techniques
  • Movement and poses to aid optimal foetal position
  • Relaxation and hypnobirthing techniques
  • Positive birth and antenatal education
  • The perfect place to meet other pregnant women in a positive, supportive environment
  • A printable set of birth affirmations
  • A WhatsApp group for peer support
  • A private Facebook group to ask questions and get support
  • Weekly emails with useful additional birth education
  • Access to a birth book lending library
  • Additional virtual support from Tara during your pregnancy

The classes are suitable from approximately 14 weeks of pregnancy and you don’t need to have practiced yoga before to attend. Classes are just as useful for you if you already have children as they are if you are a first time parent. Whatever your birth choices are or will be in the future, these classes are wonderful way to prepare for all types of birth experiences.
