Nurtured Postnatal Yoga Classes
Nurtured postnatal yoga classes include a combination of movement, balance and breathing techniques to effectively strengthen the pelvic floor, abdominal and back muscles and release tension in the body. This postnatal yoga and relaxation class provides a safe space just for you as a new mum to stretch, recharge and aid your postnatal recovery.
Classes support your health and well-being by using movement. mindfulness and relaxation to allow you to regain your strength and reconnect with your body in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Classes include:
- Gentle postnatal yoga
- Movement and poses to relieve tension in the body and improve posture
- Time and space to reconnect with your body and mind
- Relaxation and mindfulness techniques to reduce stress and
- A focus on restoring your pelvic floor and regaining core strength
- The perfect space to meet other new mums in a positive, nurturing and supportive environment
- A private Facebook group to ask questions and get support
- Access to a postnatal WhatsApp group
- Additional virtual support from Tara
The classes are suitable from approximately 6 weeks or 10 weeks (if you have had a caesarean birth) up to 2 years postnatal and you don’t need to have practiced yoga before to attend. Postnatal yoga is a great way of safely restoring tone and strengthening the whole body whilst sharing the experience amongst a community of other mums.
